Founded in 2022 in New York City by David Petersen and Bretton Auerbach, LocalMovers.com was created to solve a simple but frustrating problem: review sites weren't helping people choose movers. With nearly 95% of companies rated between 4.5 and 4.9 stars, the ratings weren't meaningful. To solve this, we decided to conduct original research to clearly show which moving companies truly stand out.
