The Moving Connection has changed owners three times since its start in 1989. Despite this, it has undeniably become a Boulder staple. After all, it's been part of this city for over thirty years. Its original owner was Glen McGinty. Glen was a drummer who suddenly found himself owning the truck his band had used to transport their instruments. Quick on his feet, he turned it into a lucrative moving business. In 1991, Dave Moloney bought the business from Glenn and was its owner until 2017. He sold the company to another Boulder family. As you can see, The Moving Connection has never drifted from its local origins.
