About This Company

Starting from humble beginnings in 1957, a Memphis family took out a small loan and opened a single warehouse that would eventually become Armstrong Company. Three generations later, their commitment to putting customers first has turned this local operation into something much bigger - spanning 34 markets while never forgetting where they came from. You won't find the same cookie-cutter approach here that defines most corporate moving companies. Instead, Armstrong builds each service around what their customers actually need. They handle everything from helping families settle into new homes to managing complex business relocations and running supply chain operations. The difference shows in how their crews work - they know Memphis streets like the back of their hand, but they're just as comfortable coordinating moves anywhere in the world. After 68 years and with 4 million square feet of storage facilities, they've figured out how to stay big enough to handle any job while keeping that neighborhood feel their grandparents' generation started with. Corporate competitors might have flashier marketing, but they can't match the genuine relationships Armstrong has spent decades building throughout Memphis and beyond.
