It all started in 1920 when John Herlihy, Sr. started a local, family-run company called Herlihy Moving & Storage. Thanks to his commitment to complete customer satisfaction, the business quickly grew. In 1933, Herlihy joined forces with Mayflower Transit. This union allowed the Ohio-based company to broaden its services coast-to-coast. Nowadays, Herlihy Moving & Storage is run by Joe and James Herlihy, John's grandsons.
