It was 1986 when Larry Davis Sr. discovered he had a knack for moving people. He was working cleaning out basements and garages and delivering furniture from stores when a local mover asked him for help. Then and there, he realized he was face-to-face with an opportunity. Larry invested in his first truck, and the rest, as they say, is history. That was the start of Music City Movers. The company grew by word-of-mouth, gaining an excellent reputation for its superior services. Almost forty years later, Larry remains its owner, and it's still very much a local, family-owned business. Its fleet of trucks is all hand-painted by young Nashville artists. The Music City Movers provide door-to-door moving services across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. They can help you with full relocations or small moves of just some rooms. They've relocated homes, apartments, businesses, offices, storage facilities, retail stores, and churches. They also know how to safely carry antiques, gun safes, instruments, lawnmowers, appliances, sculptures, and patio furniture. They can rent you their wardrobe boxes and sell you moving supplies.
