About This Company

URI Moving Solutions, formerly known as U-RENT-IT-WE-MOVE-U LLC, operates from their Katy location at 6037 N Fry Road, serving the greater Houston area since 2010 under the leadership of owner-operator Timothy Washington. The company distinguishes itself through its flexible hybrid moving approach, specializing in challenging situations that other Houston movers often cannot accommodate, including same-day pack and moves, double-closing relocations, after-hours services, and short-term truck storage solutions. What sets URI apart from competitors is their comprehensive service packages starting at $289 for express moves, accommodating late-day scheduling between 3-5 PM to work around clients' employment constraints, and providing transparent pricing with all equipment included. Their services extend up to 250 miles for regional moves and as far as Maine for long-distance relocations, offering everything from labor-only assistance at $80/hour for two movers to full-service packages. The company provides free moving blankets, shrink wrap, furniture disassembly, and setup while maintaining no stair charges, making them a versatile solution for Houston-area residents facing complex moving scenarios.
