About This Company

Zippy Shell flips the traditional moving and storage model on its head for Raleigh residents by bringing portable containers directly to customers instead of making them haul everything to a facility. This approach eliminates the usual headaches of renting trucks, rushing through one-day moves, or making countless trips back and forth to storage units. The company delivers street-legal containers that fit virtually anywhere, then gives people up to three days to pack at their own pace before picking everything up and storing it in their secure, climate-controlled warehouse. Whether someone's moving locally between Cary and Wake Forest or relocating across state lines, Zippy Shell works around their schedule rather than forcing rushed timelines. Customers keep the only key to their container, ensuring complete security and privacy. The service also includes optional loading and unloading help, packing supplies, and furniture disassembly when needed, making the entire process remarkably straightforward compared to conventional moving companies.
