About This Company

AB Moving operates out of the Great Hills area in North Austin, and this family-run business has been moving Texans around for almost 30 years now. Kenny Baker started the Austin branch back in 2005, and his crews know every street from downtown to the suburbs like they grew up here - which most of them probably did. What's smart about how they work is giving you choices: flat rates if you want to know exactly what you'll pay upfront, or hourly rates if your move is pretty straightforward. They handle everything from packing your breakables in bubble wrap to taking apart that massive sectional sofa and putting it back together at your new place. Need to move today? They actually do same-day service when they have crews available, which saves people when their plans fall apart. Here's the kicker - no deposits, no cancellation fees, no rescheduling charges like most companies hit you with. They're properly licensed with both Texas and federal transportation authorities, and they can store your stuff or sell you moving supplies if you need them. Been doing this long enough to know what works.
