About This Company

Louisville residents have depended on The Armstrong Company since 1969, when this family-owned business first opened its doors in Kentucky's River City. With roots tracing back to Memphis in 1957, Armstrong has evolved into a global logistics leader while maintaining its personal touch throughout the Louisville metropolitan area. The company operates from two strategic locations within the city, providing comprehensive relocation services that span from simple apartment moves to complex international corporate transfers. Their service portfolio encompasses professional packing and unpacking, custom crating for specialty items, personal move coordination, and even real estate assistance for clients transitioning between homes. Unlike typical moving companies that focus solely on transport, Armstrong distinguishes itself through its affiliation with United Van Lines, offering clients both local attention and national resources. This partnership enables them to provide superior logistics technology, extensive coverage networks, and specialized services like independent vehicle transportation that protects cars during long-distance moves, setting them apart from Louisville competitors.
