About This Company

Berger Allied has been around Austin since way before most people even knew what this city would become - they started back in 1910 and landed on Long Vista Drive decades ago. What makes them different from all these newer moving companies popping up everywhere? For starters, they're one of Allied Van Lines' biggest agents, which means when your stuff needs to go anywhere in the world, they've got connections that smaller outfits simply can't match. Their warehouse operation isn't just some storage unit either - they handle everything from custom crating for your grandmother's antiques to managing corporate relocations that would give other movers nightmares. The team there actually specializes in the tricky stuff most companies won't touch: heavy industrial equipment, international customs paperwork, even vehicle transport. While other movers might nickel and dime you for extras, Berger's been doing this long enough to streamline costs that newcomers struggle with. They've got over 600 trucks nationwide, so scheduling isn't the usual Austin headache it is with smaller companies.
