About This Company

Since 1989, Celtic Moving & Storage has operated out of their Egbert Avenue location in San Francisco, where Martin and Mary Ann Folan built their family company from a single truck into a Bay Area institution. Their son Marty now helps run the business, overseeing ten trucks and fourteen employees who handle moves throughout Northern California. Here's what sets Celtic apart from the pack: ninety percent of their work comes from customers who actually tell their friends and neighbors to use them. Most moving companies leave you guessing what's happening, but Celtic keeps you informed every step of the way - no surprises, no confusion. They take care of the details other movers skip, like properly labeling each box with the exact room it belongs in and carefully taking apart your furniture before putting it back together perfectly at the new place. San Francisco's crazy logistics don't faze their crews either - tight elevator spaces, winding staircases, narrow apartment hallways, they've seen it all. Having that BBB A+ rating since 1991 means they've been doing things right longer than most of their competitors have even existed. People trust them enough to recommend Celtic to family members, which says everything about how they handle your stuff.
