About This Company

Founded by Lou and Jean Klause in 1972, A-1 Moving & Storage sprouted from a dream nurtured with love and trust. In the early days, young Tom Klause embarked on a moving journey, side by side with his father, unloading their very first 1967 Dodge milk truck. As the years passed, this once humble enterprise flourished into a thriving endeavor, but Tom remains ever-humble, attributing success to his remarkable team. Within the walls of their 45,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility, a close-knit crew of moving experts reigns supreme. Each member shares a bond that transcends blood ties, fueled by the core values of Excellence, Professionalism, and Integrity – the pillars upon which A-1 stands tall.
