About This Company

Working out of San Diego County, BMS Moving & Storage has built something impressive as the largest agent within the Bekins Van Lines network—the oldest moving company in America. This partnership gives them access to resources that smaller local competitors simply can't match, while their team of dedicated project managers ensures every client gets personal attention rather than getting lost in corporate bureaucracy. Their San Diego operation has become particularly skilled at handling military relocations, thanks to the area's heavy military presence, meaning they understand the unique challenges of PCS moves and tight deadlines that come with military life. What makes BMS different is their comprehensive approach—they're not just hauling boxes from one place to another, but offering everything from specialized packing for delicate items like pianos to complete office relocations with minimal business disruption. Their 26-foot trucks are perfectly sized for navigating San Diego's tight parking lots and narrow driveways, plus they handle all furniture assembly and disassembly at no extra charge. The combination of national backing through Bekins, local expertise, and their commitment to treating every move like their own has earned them consistently positive reviews from customers who appreciate professional service without the corporate runaround.
